Privacy Policy

AI Adoption Score ("AI Adoption Score," "we," "us," or "our") is built and operated by Ralabs. This policy explains what data we collect through ai-adoption-score.app and our related dashboards and surveys, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers two kinds of people:

  • Customers and their admins — people who sign up for, configure, or manage an AI Adoption Score workspace on behalf of their organization.
  • Survey respondents — employees of a customer organization who complete a survey (e.g. the 360° AI Maturity Assessment, Quick AI Self-Evaluation, AI Anxiety Scale, or another assessment listed on our site) sent to them by their employer.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in — including via Google Sign-In — we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we request only the basic scopes needed to identify you (name, email, profile); we do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google data.

Organization data. Company or team name, team structure, and the roles you set up so surveys and dashboards can be organized correctly.

Survey responses. Answers submitted through our surveys. Depending on how a customer configures a survey, responses may be tied to an individual respondent or collected anonymously; where anonymous, we do not attempt to re-identify respondents.

Usage data. Standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) collected automatically to operate and secure the service. On our website, and only if you allow it, we also collect analytics data through Google Analytics (see Section 8).

3. How we use information

  • Operate the service: authenticate users, generate scores, and render dashboards.
  • Cross-validate and weight survey responses into maturity scores, as described on our product pages.
  • Provide support and respond to requests you send us.
  • Improve AI Adoption Score, including by analyzing de-identified, aggregated data across customers to refine benchmarks (for example, the "44 companies tested" statistic shown on our homepage).
  • Send service updates; you can opt out of anything that isn't required for the service to function.

4. Google user data

If you use "Sign in with Google," the only Google user data we receive is the basic profile information Google shares for authentication (name, email address, profile photo). We use it solely to create and secure your account. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only:

  • With service providers who host and run our infrastructure (for example, our hosting provider) under confidentiality obligations, and Google, which provides Google Analytics for our website if you allow analytics cookies;
  • Within a customer's own organization — an organization's admins can see dashboards and scores for their own workspace;
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Ralabs or others;
  • As aggregated, de-identified benchmarking data that cannot reasonably identify an individual or a specific customer.

6. Data retention

We retain account and survey data for as long as a workspace is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion as described in Section 9.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to production data — to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and analytics

Required storage. Our website stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. It contains no identifier and is kept for 180 days, after which we ask again. Signing in to the AI Adoption Score app uses its own session and security cookies, which the app's cookie banner describes.

Analytics (optional). With your consent, our website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how people find the site, and how it performs. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>, which keep a random identifier for up to 2 years, and collects information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type. Google processes this data on our behalf; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not load Google Analytics until you accept it, and we keep advertising storage, ad personalization, and ad user data turned off through Google consent mode.

Your choice. You can accept or decline analytics in the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time with Cookie preferences in the site footer. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and deletes the Google Analytics cookies on our domain; it cannot recall data already sent. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out browser add-on. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If you are a survey respondent, you can also raise this with your organization's admin, since they control your workspace.

10. Children's privacy

AI Adoption Score is a workplace product intended for use by working adults on behalf of their employer. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children.

11. International data transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
